My ancestors are from one of the most bio-diverse places on Earth, the Philippine Islands. They knew what plants healed us and used this knowledge to alleviate our everyday aches, pains, illnesses, and so much more. If you have a connection to the Philippines, you are likely familiar with these herbal remedies. For me, I am a “forever student”-learning about new plants from biologists, the community, and other herbalists. There’s so much we are discovering (sometimes rediscovering) about our plant medicine.

At present, I am based in Southern California. I would like to acknowledge the indigenous peoples of California-particularly the Chumash and the Kizh for their knowledge of medicinal plants. I grow a garden of California native plants which I include in my herbal remedies. We also work with many medicinal plants which many people are familiar with from around the world. It is my deepest wish that this shop will have something for everyone.
